Rhode Island High School Baseball - Rogers loses to Prout

The Rogers Vikings baseball team (Newport, RI), was overwhelmed 16-9 in Monday's league outing with the visiting Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI)

The Crusaders now hold a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pilgrim for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 25. Prout will confront a Patriots team coming off a 6-4 league loss to Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Patriots record now stands at 11-7.

Next, the Vikings confront the West Warwick Wizards (West Warwick, RI) in a Division 2 outing, on Wednesday, May 25. Rogers will attempt to advance on its 2-15 season record. The Wizards go into the outing with a 7-11 record after their 12-5 league loss to Johnston (Johnston, RI).
