The Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Falcons lacrosse team scored 24 points and limited the host New Bedford Whalers to 2 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Monday.
The Falcons (13-2) will now prepare for their game against Apponequet Regional (Lakeville, MA). The Lakers enter the South Coast game with a 12-3 record. In their last game, Apponequet Regional toppled Bourne (Bourne, MA), 21-4, in a league game.
The Whalers (0-8) will now prepare for their game against Bishop Connolly (Fall River, MA). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 2-14 record. In their last game, Bishop Connolly was overwhelmed by Southeastern RVT (South Easton, MA), 15-2, in a league game.
