The Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Massabesic Mustangs (Waterboro, ME), 17-4 in Monday's league outing.
With the win, Sanford upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to Cheverus (Portland, ME) to battle the Stags in a non-league outing on Friday, May 27. The Stags go into the outing with a record of 2-6.
With the defeat, Massabesic drops to 0-9 on the season. The Mustangs host Scarborough (Scarborough, ME) to battle the Red Storm in a Class A South outing on Saturday, May 28. The Red Storm go into the outing with a record of 5-2.
