Spectators at Monday's league match between the Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME) and the host Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME), witnessed Medomak Valley's softball squad tip Lincoln Academy by a count of 4-0.
The Panthers now sport a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Belfast for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 25. Medomak Valley will face a Lions squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Winslow (Winslow, ME). The Lions record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, Lincoln Academy moves to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles host Erskine Academy (South China, ME) to face the Eagles in a Class B South match on Thursday, May 26. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 1-7.
