The Piscataquis Pirates softball team (Guilford, ME), was routed 11-7 in Monday's non-league test with the host Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME)

Coming up next, the Minutemen encounter the Bangor Christian Patriots (Bangor, ME) in a Class D North test, on Thursday, May 26. Stearns will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Patriots enter the test with a 0-12 record after their 26-16 league loss to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME).

The Pirates (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Central (East Corinth, ME). The Red Devils enter the Class C North test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Central tipped George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME), 8-7, in a league test.
