Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Wamogo Regional Warriors (Litchfield, CT), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nonnewaug for a Berkshire challenge on Wednesday, May 25. Shepaug Valley will battle a Chiefs squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Gilbert (Winsted, CT). The Chiefs record now stands at 17-2.

With the loss, Wamogo Regional falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Warriors host Housatonic (Falls Village, CT) to battle the Mountaineers in a Berkshire challenge on Wednesday, May 25. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Housatonic won 8-7 in their recent league challenge against Wamogo Regional (Litchfield, CT)
