Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Narragansett for a Division 2 A challenge on Tuesday, May 24. Westerly will battle a Mariners squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI). The Mariners record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Tiverton falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Barrington (Barrington, RI) to battle the Eagles in a Division 2 A challenge on Tuesday, May 24. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 4-10.
