The Marist Spartans baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Astoria Fishermen to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans (20-1) will now prepare for their match against Pendleton (Pendleton, OR). The Buckaroos go into the non-league match with a 16-4 record. In their last match, Pendleton tipped Newport (Newport, OR), 8-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Astoria falls to 9-14 on the season.
