Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY) and the visiting Northeastern Clinton Cougars (Champlain, NY), saw Moriah's baseball squad knock off Northeastern Clinton by a count of 16-13.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Ticonderoga Sentinels (Ticonderoga, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I battle, on Friday, May 26. Moriah will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Sentinels enter the battle with a 9-7 record after their 8-2 league win over Northern Adirondack (Ellenburg Depot, NY).

The Cougars now possess a 3-13 record.
