The Cranston East Thunderbolts volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Coventry Oakers to 1 in the Thunderbolts league victory on Tuesday.

The Thunderbolts now possess a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Salle Academy for a Division 1 (State) game on Thursday, May 25. Cranston East will meet a Rams team coming off a 3-0 league win over Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Rams record now stands at 14-3.

The Oakers (1-16) will now prepare for their game against East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI). The Avengers enter the Division 1 (State) game with a 9-8 record. In their last game, East Greenwich was dropped by North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI), 3-1, in a league game.
