Maine High School Softball - Maine Central Institute bounces Bangor Christian

The Maine Central Institute Huskies routed the visiting Bangor Christian Patriots softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Huskies (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Mustangs go into the Class C North battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, Mount View was routed by Maranacook (Readfield, ME), 12-2, in a non-league battle.
The Patriots now sport a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Hermon for a non-league battle on Friday, May 26. Bangor Christian will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 12-3.
