Byron Center Bulldogs (Byron Center, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Coopersville Broncos (Coopersville, MI), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 23-7 record. They take the field next when they host Forest Hills Central for a Ottawa-Kent - White challenge on Tuesday, May 28.

With the loss, Coopersville falls to 21-5 on the campaign. The Broncos host Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 30. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 7-9.
