Florence Bobcats (Florence, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Niagara Badgers (Niagara, WI), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Bobcats now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Newman for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 29. Florence will face a Fighting Cardinals squad coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Wabeno/Laona (Wabeno, WI). The Fighting Cardinals record now stands at 6-12.
With the loss, Niagara falls to 3-6 on the campaign.
