The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Evart Wildcats (Evart, MI) and the visiting Au Gres-Sims Wolverines (Au Gres, MI), saw Evart's baseball team gain a win over Au Gres-Sims by a tally of 13-1.

The Wildcats (18-8) will now prepare for their battle against Manton (Manton, MI). The Rangers enter the Highland battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Manton was overwhelmed by Manistee (Manistee, MI), 7-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Wolverines face the Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI) in a North Star battle, on Friday, May 30. Au Gres-Sims will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
