In Friday's league game, the host Fort Zumwalt East Lions baseball team scored a close 9-4 win over the Warrenton Warriors.
The Lions (24-12) will now prepare for their game against St. Dominic (O'Fallon, MO). The Crusaders go into the Class 5 District 4 game with a 22-9 record. In their last game, St. Dominic nudged Holt (Wentzville, MO), 3-1, in a league game.
