Michigan High School Baseball - Michigan Center defeats Vandercook Lake

May 23, 2025: Jackson, MI 49203

The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Michigan Center Cardinals (Michigan Center, MI) and the host Vandercook Lake Jayhawks (Jackson, MI), saw Michigan Center's baseball team beat Vandercook Lake by a margin of 10-4.

The Cardinals (8-17) will now prepare for their battle against Springport (Springport, MI). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Springport held off Maple Valley (Vermontville, MI), 7-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Jayhawks face the Addison Panthers (Addison, MI) in a Cascades battle, on Tuesday, May 27. Vandercook Lake will attempt to improve on its 1-20 season record.
