The Charlottesville Black Knights baseball team scored 17 runs and held the host Orange County Fighting Hornets to 5 in the Black Knights non-league win on Friday.

The Black Knights now hold a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they host Louisa County for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 27. Charlottesville will play a Lions team coming off a 14-2 non-league win over Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Lions record now stands at 9-6.

With the defeat, Orange County drops to 5-11 on the year. The Fighting hornets host Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to play the Flying Flucos in a non-league test on Monday, May 26. The Flying Flucos go into the test with a record of 15-2. Fluvanna County lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA)
