Washington High School Softball - Lynden bounces Franklin Pierce

The Lynden Lions softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Franklin Pierce Cardinals to 1 in the Lions non-league win on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tumwater for a non-league battle on Friday, May 23. Lynden will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mark Morris (Longview, WA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 17-3.
With the loss, Franklin Pierce moves to 16-4 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Nathan Hale (Seattle, WA) to confront the Raiders in a non-league battle on Friday, May 23. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 8-13. Nathan Hale lost 11-1 in their recent non-league battle against Cedarcrest (Duvall, WA)
