Mystic Valley Regional Eagles (Malden, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Nashoba Valley Tech Vikings (Westford, MA), 12-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 26.

With the loss, Nashoba Valley Tech falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Greater Lawrence Tech (Andover, MA) to battle the Reggies in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 25. The Reggies enter the challenge with a record of 7-10. Greater Lawrence Tech lost 15-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Academy of Notre Dame (Tyngsborough, MA)
