Norwell Clippers (Norwell, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sandwich Blue Knights (East Sandwich, MA), 17-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Clippers now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Abington for a South Shore - Pilgrim challenge on Wednesday, May 25. Norwell will battle a Green Wave squad coming off a 17-4 non-league win over Hull (Hull, MA). The Green Wave record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, Sandwich falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Blue knights host Middleborough (Middleborough, MA) to battle the Sachems in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 27. The Sachems enter the challenge with a record of 12-4.
