Westfield Technical Academy Tigers (Westfield, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes (Amherst, MA), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Westfield Technical Academy upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Tigers host Chicopee Comp (Chicopee, MA) to clash with the Colts in a non-league game on Thursday, May 25. The Colts go into the game with a record of 3-12.
