The Weymouth Wildcats (South Weymouth, MA) baseball trounced the host Needham Rockets (Needham, MA), 12-2 in Wednesday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Hingham Harbormen (Hingham, MA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 26. Weymouth will attempt to better on its 17-4 season record. The Harbormen enter the contest with a 8-10 record after their 15-4 league loss to Duxbury (Duxbury, MA).

The Rockets now sport a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they host Newton South for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 25. Needham will play a Lions squad coming off a 19-0 non-league loss to Boston College High (Boston, MA). The Lions record now stands at 10-8.
