The Smithfield Sentinels baseball team (Esmond, RI), was overwhelmed 12-4 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the visiting Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI)
The Hawks now hold a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Salle Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 25. Bishop Hendricken will play a Rams squad coming off a 10-8 non-league win over Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI). The Rams record now stands at 5-1.
The Sentinels now possess a 3-7 record.
