Biddeford Tigers (Biddeford, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME), 10-3 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bonny Eagle for a Class A South challenge on Friday, May 26. Biddeford will battle a Scots squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Deering (Portland, ME). The Scots record now stands at 2-12.

With the loss, Cheverus falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Stags travel to Windham (Windham, ME) to battle the Eagles in a Class A South challenge on Friday, May 26. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 13-1. Windham won 22-0 in their recent league challenge against Falmouth (Falmouth, ME)
