Maine High School Softball - Gardiner bounces Erskine Academy

The Gardiner Tigers routed the visiting Erskine Academy Eagles softball squad by a final score of 12-2 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Tigers (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Morse (Bath, ME). The Shipbuilders go into the Class B South battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Morse was routed by Leavitt (Turner, ME), 5-2, in a league battle.
The Eagles now possess a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Lincoln Academy for a Class B South battle on Friday, May 26. Erskine Academy will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to Oceanside (Rockland, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 3-11.
