Massachusetts High School Softball - Milford nudges Franklin

Milford Hawks (Milford, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Franklin Panthers (Franklin, MA), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Hawks now sport a 7-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bridgewater-Raynham for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 27.

With the loss, Franklin falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Mansfield (Mansfield, MA) to face the Hornets in a Hockomock - Kelly - Rex challenge on Thursday, May 25. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 4-11.
