Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the North Middlesex Regional Patriots (Townsend, MA) and the host Lowell Catholic Crusaders (Lowell, MA), saw North Middlesex Regional's baseball squad knock off Lowell Catholic by a count of 3-1.
The Crusaders now possess a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tyngsborough for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 29. Lowell Catholic will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bromfield (Harvard, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-13.
