Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI), 14-13 in a non-league battle.

The Crusaders now have a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moses Brown for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 30. Prout will clash with a Quakers squad coming off a 20-6 league win over Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Quakers record now stands at 16-2.
