Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the York Falcons (Yorktown, VA) and the visiting Colonial Heights Colonials (Colonial Heights, VA), witnessed York's softball squad prevail over Colonial Heights by a count of 16-1.
The Falcons now sport a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to New Kent for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 28. York will face a Trojans squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Norcom (Portsmouth, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 19-2.
With the loss, Colonial Heights moves to 7-12 on the season.
