Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA), 16-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 20-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Broadway for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 28. Turner Ashby will battle a Gobblers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Rustburg (Rustburg, VA). The Gobblers record now stands at 17-5.

With the loss, Spotswood falls to 16-6 on the campaign.
