The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN) and the host Austin Eagles (Austin, IN), saw Rising Sun's baseball team gain a win over Austin by a tally of 12-2.

The Shiners (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 10-11 record. In their last battle, Trinity Lutheran prevailed over Clarksville (Clarksville, IN), 16-6, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Eagles face the Brown County Eagles (Nashville, IN) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 28. Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 0-15 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Hauser (Hope, IN).
