The Haddam-Killingworth Cougars baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils to 2 in the Cougars non-league win on Saturday.

The Cougars now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Branford for a Shoreline - Large test on Tuesday, May 27. Haddam-Killingworth will clash with a Thunderbirds team coming off a 8-5 league win over East Hampton (East Hampton, CT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 18-4.

With the defeat, Coginchaug Regional drops to 12-6 on the year. The Blue devils host Maloney (Meriden, CT) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 28. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 11-9. Maloney lost 6-3 in their recent non-league test against RHAM (Hebron, CT)
