The Sussex Academy Seahawks softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Laurel Bulldogs to 7 in the Seahawks non-league win on Saturday.

The Seahawks now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sussex Tech for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 27. Sussex Academy will confront a Ravens team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Lake Forest (Felton, DE). The Ravens record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Laurel moves to 12-9 on the season.
