Indiana High School Baseball - Rising Sun holds off Austin

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN) and the host Austin Eagles (Austin, IN), saw Rising Sun's baseball squad knock off Austin by a count of 6-2.

Coming up next, the Shiners play the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles (Osgood, IN) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 31. Rising Sun will attempt to move on its 10-10 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 13-10 record after their 23-6 non-league win over New Washington (New Washington, IN).

The Eagles now possess a 13-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crawford County for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 29. Austin will play a Wolfpack squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Orleans (Orleans, IN). The Wolfpack record now stands at 4-16.
