Algonquin Regional Titans (Northborough, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA), 15-11 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now own a 3-13 record. They take the field next when they host North for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 27. Algonquin Regional will battle a Polar Bears squad coming off a 18-3 non-league loss to Sutton/Douglas (Sutton, MA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Fitchburg falls to 1-19 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to Murdock (Winchendon, MA) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 26. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 3-15.
