Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Orono Riots (Orono, ME) and the visiting Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME), witnessed Orono's softball squad prevail over Dexter by a count of 22-7.

The Riots now sport a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Central for a Class C North match on Thursday, May 26. Orono will meet a Red Devils squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Red Devils record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Dexter moves to 4-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Searsport (Searsport, ME) to meet the Vikings in a non-league match on Friday, May 27. The Vikings go into the match with a record of 10-4. Searsport lost 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Sumner (East Sullivan, ME)
