The Hermon Hawks softball team (Hermon, ME), was routed 9-1 in Wednesday's league test with the host Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME)
Coming up next, the Trojans encounter the Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME) in a Class B North test, on Saturday, May 28. Mount Desert Island will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 9-6 league win over Caribou (Caribou, ME).
The Hawks (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME). The Eagles come into the Class B North test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Ellsworth overcame George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME), 21-1, in a non-league test.
