Maine High School Softball - Morse thwarted by Leavitt

The Morse Shipbuilders softball squad (Bath, ME), was routed 8-0 in Wednesday's league bout with the host Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME)
The Hornets (7-4) will now prepare for their bout against Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Eagles go into the Class B South bout with a 3-9 record. In their last bout, Erskine Academy was routed by Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME), 6-3, in a league bout.
The Shipbuilders now possess a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Gardiner for a Class B South bout on Friday, May 27. Morse will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 11-2.
