The Madison Bulldogs (Madison, ME) softball routed the visiting Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME), 10-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Bulldogs (13-2) will now prepare for their bout against Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME). The Mustangs go into the Class C South bout with a 11-3 record. In their last bout, Monmouth Academy notched a victory over Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME), 13-3, in a league bout.

The Phoenix now possess a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Telstar for a Class C South bout on Thursday, May 26. Spruce Mountain will confront a Rebels squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Dirigo (Dixfield, ME). The Rebels record now stands at 5-9.
