The Manistique Emeralds baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Superior Central Cougars to 1 in the Emeralds non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cougars (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Bark River-Harris (Harris, MI). The Broncos go into the non-league match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Bark River-Harris was overwhelmed by Escanaba (Escanaba, MI), 10-0, in a non-league match.
