In Thursday's non-league test, the host Battlefield Bobcats soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Charles J. Colgan Sharks.
The Bobcats now sport a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Osbourn Park for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 31. Battlefield will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Gar-Field (Woodbridge, VA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Charles J. Colgan drops to 10-8 on the season.
