Michigan High School Softball - Anchor Bay bounces Chippewa Valley

Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI), 7-1 in a league challenge.

The Tars now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Chippewa Valley for a Macomb Area - Red challenge on Wednesday, May 31.

With the loss, Chippewa Valley falls to 7-15 on the campaign. The Big reds host Lutheran North (Macomb, MI) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 30. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 14-12.
