Stockbridge Panthers (Stockbridge, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Corunna Cavaliers (Corunna, MI), 11-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Durand for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 30. Stockbridge will battle a Railroaders squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Lakeville (Otisville, MI). The Railroaders record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Corunna falls to 7-24 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Chesaning (Chesaning, MI) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 30. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 3-7.
