The Gardiner Tigers (Gardiner, ME) softball the host Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Tigers (13-2) will now prepare for their bout against Cony (Augusta, ME). The Rams go into the non-league bout with a 4-11 record. In their last bout, Cony was routed by Winslow (Winslow, ME), 10-7, in a league bout.
The Shipbuilders now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln Academy for a Class B South bout on Wednesday, May 31. Morse will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 9-4 league win over Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 4-11.
