Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors (Sergeant Bluff, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Jefferson Yellowjackets (Council Bluffs, IA), 13-1 in a league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Heelan Catholic for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 30.
With the loss, Jefferson falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Le Mars (Le Mars, IA) to battle the Bulldogs in a challenge on Tuesday, May 30. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Le Mars won 15-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA)
