In Thursday's non-league contest, the Poultney Blue Devils (Poultney, VT) softball team overwhelmed the host Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT), by a margin of 20-4.
With the triumph, Poultney moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT) to play the Rebels in a Marble Valley - C contest on Friday, May 26. The Rebels come into the contest with a record of 1-1.
In their next game, the Minutemen play the Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 27. Mill River will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.
