Vermont High School Softball - North Country Union bounces Lake Region

The North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) softball routed the host Lake Region Rangers (Orleans, VT), 15-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Falcons (4-7) will now prepare for their bout against Randolph (Randolph, VT). The Ghosts go into the non-league bout with a 3-5 record.

The Rangers now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Oxbow for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 28. Lake Region will confront a Olympians squad coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Spaulding (Barre, VT). The Olympians record now stands at 13-0.
