Logan-Magnolia Panthers (Logan, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to CAM for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 28. Logan-Magnolia will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 17-3 non-league win over East Mills (Malvern, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The travel to Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA) to battle the Eagles in a Western Valley challenge on Tuesday, May 28. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-4.
