Pennsylvania High School Baseball - West Middlesex holds off Wilmington

May 26, 2022: New Wilmington, PA 16142

West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Middlesex upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Big Reds travel to Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Monday, May 30. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 17-4. Sharpsville won 5-1 in their recent league test against Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA)

With the defeat, Wilmington falls to 16-6 on the season.
