The Aledo Bearcats softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Monterey Plainsmen to 2 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Aledo moves its record to 32-2 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Monterey (Lubbock, TX) to play the Plainsmen in a non-league game on Friday, May 27.
